Far Cry 3: Meet The Vaas Before Vaas

There are many things that stand-out in Far Cry 3, but one of the biggest by far is the villain himself, Vaas. The personality of Vass is such a beauty to see in action, but what if he wasn't an insane, humorous, psychopath? Well meet the original Vaas. 

Speaking with IGN, Dan Hay he discussed how they just didn't have the character right at all. Here are some images of what Vaas looked like before the final concept, which was based off the voice actor.

In this first image you'll notice him being the generic buff villian that many titles user nowadays. He had absolutely no personality what-so-ever.

This one is modelled more after the voice actor, Michael Mondo. Notice that he is looking more like the Vaas we know, yet maintains certain aspect from the previous concept. 

And now we have the final version, the one we all love, yet fear. Here's a video interview with the voice actor and how he was initially not selected as the actor of Vaas. Thank god it happened.
